What is needed for using Pi Hat on a DIY laser?

Post by Mochanic » Mon Oct 07, 2019 2:37 am

Just got the Protoneer 2.60 Pi hat, and Pi 3B+. What software should I use? Should I load the 4.10 image onto an SD card, or do I need something else since this will be used on a laser machine?

GRBL has a laser cutting mode and bCNC that is on the 4.1 image should be able to send the G-Code to the board. LaserWeb is an alternative but I gave up getting it working a few years ago.

That sucks... I was under the impression that you were still working on an image with Laserweb 4. According to your posts earlier this year you were still working on it. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=788&hilit=laserweb
