Upgrade a version 3 shield to a 3.51 shield with caps?

I have a few of your your (genuine from Elecrow) version 3 and version 3.51 Arduino CNC shields. The 3.51 shield works perfect. I have multiple 3.51 shields with 1000s of hours on each and not a single issue. I am trying to "upgrade" the limit switch stability on my old version 3 shields by adding a .1uF capacitor from X+ (for example) to ground. The old version 3 shields give me false limit trips. It seems better with the caps. Do you think the cap value is correct?

We actually use 0.047uF and 680 Ohm resistor for the RC filters.
