Grbl keeps going in alarm

Post by Erikcramerjr » Sat Sep 16, 2017 6:06 pm

Hi,

I have bought a grbl shield and put it on a original Arduino.
But every time I want to move my steppers the board says it's in alarm and won't move.
I have tried with easel and grbl 0.9f
And universal grbl sender with grbl 0.9f and 0.8c but the same keeps happening.
Does any one have any advice for me ?

This will work with the latest GRBL V1.1. Start with that and let us know how that goes...

What software do you suggest to use as a controller to test with?
Instead of a terminal console.

You could give GRBL Panel a go.
https://github.com/gerritv/Grbl-Panel/wiki
Just click the word Code above where it says Home on the main page, then click the green download button on the right
and download the Zip file.
