pololu motor driver not moving

I have connected everything according to your wiki and the board was able to connect with bCNC so I can read the grbl configuration by typing $$. I used a 24V 5A switching power adapter and 3 pololu DRV8825 motor drivers. However, the stepper motors didn't jog at all and I didn't hear the noise generated by the motors after powering.

Besides, I was not sure where should I put the ground pins of the limiting switches so I put them to the coolant ground. Was I put them right. However, the limiting switches were not reacting as well.

Please help!

The GND pins are all shared so that is fine... From the GRBL settings Hard limits need to be enabled for end stops to work.

Are your stepper motors hooked up correctly? Are you sure the power supply is working?

Do you have a photo of your setup?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, the power was connected properly that I got the 24v reading from multimeter by touching the 12V-36 terminal screw and ground screw. I checked the direction of En pin and Dir pin before plugging the motor drivers on the board. The A and B coil of the motors were checked before hooking up.

If you have a multimeter. Could you please check the voltage at the Enable pin? (Connecting your multimeter to a GND pin and the ENable pin.)

The multi-meter reading between En and Gnd of the pololu driver is just 5V instead of 24V.

That is correct. When you send it a movement command, does the EN pin go to 0V?

Did you change the GRBL settings or are you on the standard settings?

The En pin went to 0V when a movement command was sent.

Here is the setting:

$0=10
$1=25
$2=0
$3=0
$4=0
$5=0
$6=0
$10=1
$11=0.010
$12=0.002
$13=0
$20=0
$21=1
$22=1
$23=0
$24=35.000
$25=1200.000
$26=94
$27=4.000
$30=1000
$31=0
$32=0
$100=40.000
$101=40.000
$102=80.000
$110=500.000
$111=500.000
$112=500.000
$120=10.000
$121=10.000
$122=10.000
$130=200.000
$131=200.000
$132=200.000

Have you set the current limit for the Pololu Drivers.
