You should know what Arduino board you have.
If you are using Arduino IDE then just look in the Tools menu there is a list of all the Arduino boards, just pick yours from there.

This should be under Tools no matter what Arduino board you have, no? I have a different one and it's still in the same place.

Let me rephrase the question.

I am using the RPi CNC controller and need to change or verify CONFIG.H file to activate the Spindle PWM and probe function. How do I edit the GRBL config.h file.

I usually edit text files with Notepad++. It's free and gives you line numbers in a text file when editing.
https://notepad-plus-plus.org

Then you should load in the config.h file to edit.
It should be in C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\Arduino\libraries\grbl
Your location should be C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\Documents\Arduino\libraries\grbl

Spindle PWM is enabled by default, if it is not then you goto line 339.

339 #define VARIABLE_SPINDLE // Default enabled. Comment to disable.

if there are 2 "//" in front of #define then you should remove them.

Not sure about the Probe, but you can type the word probe in the Find option on the Search menu in Notepadd++
and it will find any mention of the word probe.

When you have finished editing the config.h file click Save on the File menu.
Then you have to recompile and reupload GRBL to the Arduino for any changes to take effect.

If you did'nt have to change anything just close Notepad++ without saving the file.
No need to recompile or reupload.

StuartB...

I guess you missed my comment on that I am running bCNC on a RPi CNC which is a lynux which doesn't have a C: Drive

Yeah, sorry about that.
Never used bCNC or a RPi so would'nt know how to do it that way.
I'm sure someone here knows though.

The Board config is a Standard Arduino Uno and the serial port should be /dev/ttyAMA0 . The board has the standard arduino bootloader.

GRBL is not compiled from the RPI image as I get the pre-compiled bin files from the Github releases.

So you will need to install the GRBL lib and then change the config.h.
