Hi-
Just got my WifiPixel board (thank you Ebay, thank you NZ customs, thank you Protoneer) and am very happy with the "I'm alive" hello world and the nifty form factor .. I am hopeful I can build a fun piece of refrigerator art around it soon.
Is your design private or are you published on an open source source? I see that the board is provisioned for an SD socket as well as a USB power feed and I was (naturally/already/customers-are-never-satisfied/etc.) wondering which pins were soldered for a physical connection but were otherwise unoccupied and how I could easily exploit them- do you have any future plans or a scale of an order where it would make business sense to do a "devboard" version of these with the existing "futures" features populated and, potentially, a few more thru holes drilled to open pins and the power buses?
Thinking here of having access to do "hook pin 16 to reset for deep sleep" sorts of things and "my kingdom for an easy to solder I2C port" expandability using easy-to-route mods to the existing design to support the thru-hole crowd vs. any real changes- its already *very* nice as is and I just want to add more wires which is the best complement I can offer to your work. =)
Thanks,
Larry "just another solder junkie"
