GRBL is optimized and uses all of the micro processor memory, that is why it needs a G-Code sender. This will hopefully change with future versions.

Just adding a disclaimer makes me even wonder whether I should spend more time with protoneer. This is really bad news.
Would be nice get some info why the Pi is sending too much too fast - if it is really that.
Hobby level or not - OctoPrint works for my printer.
