Limit switches Ver 3 board

Post by Nick999 » Tue May 14, 2019 8:58 pm

Hi, completely new to CNC, I am building an Ox CNC router, all the motors work fine my problem is with the endstops, They won't work, no matter what I do. I have all the correct $ settings, my supplier has been helping by email, but all his suggestions produce no results. I am using normally opem switches wired to X- Y- and Z-, one switch on each axis. If I move axes and reset zero, the machine will home to zero, but when I use $H the axis just crash into the endstops and there is a lot of rather alarming noise. I have included a picture of $$ settings and a photo of my CNC shield setup, Please note, I have since altered $5=0 to $5=1, with no effect.
