Posts not showing up

Just curious,
Some of my posts are not showing up, I think I was approved to post as some of them do not sure what i did. I wanted to ask before trying to repost them. I tried to send a pm to inquire but it looks like i am unable to send pm's as well. I hope trying to make this post instead is okay.

How many posts do I need to make before I can PM a user? Im looking to contact a member about his project and I have a question that I dont think starting a topic about in the forum merits.

I think it was 5 or so... but I usually switch people over if I have a moment to spare. (I have switched you over.)
