Spindle speed /power supply

Post by pude1 » Sat Dec 16, 2017 9:37 am

Hi, I’m the proud owner of a chinease/aliexpress cnc with a spindle that takes up to 48V. Since the power supply / board only delivers 24V and the running Grbl 0.9 doesn‘t support spindle speed config ($30), I‘m stuck with 1000rpm‘s :(
Your board might be a good alternative! But in a product description on ebay I‘ve read: „...only the stepper support drivers 36V...“. So my question: How much voltage does your board supply to the spindle???

5V ... The spindle pin is a signal pin for spindle controller. The spindle controller will deal with the higher voltages.
