4th axis

Post by ralfsteck » Tue Jul 04, 2017 8:42 am

Hi all,

is there any chance to use the 4th Polulu for a fourth axis? I know GRBL <1.0 doesn't support a 4th axis but maybe 1.1?

Current versions of GRBL does not support it but the New ARM version will.

Might be a silly question but can one run 2 motors in parallel of of one axis on this board?, I am printing parts for a prusa for a friend and he wants to use this board to save some cash on the build.
Yes you can. But the Firmware installed(GRBL) is designed for CNC and not really 3d Printing.
