This what I finally came up with, and it works. X202.297Y7.258 G1X0Y0 G0Z54.000 (TOOL/MILL,6.3500,0,1.0000,0.0) M00 G1 Z0.000 M00 M3 S10000 The first line is part of the original, I then zeroed X and Y. Thanks Bertus, seems the M6 is void, and the link you sent was basically concerning UGS, and became quite involved. So I played around with a few settings and have found a solution . Hi, I need some help concerning Tool change within Gcode.
G0Z14.000
G0Z14.000
(TOOL/MILL,6.3500,0,1.0000,0.0)
M6 T278
M3 S10000
This is the part of the gcode I am concerned with, it is not giving me time to make the tool change, and to resume cutting, what do I need to add. Thanks

Well from your test so far, it has become obvious that the problem is on the Z , have you checked continuity on the Z cables, if that is OK, then try to trace the Z tracks to see if one is broken, or there is a bad solder joint, I had this in the beginning and found it worked. Also, I would clean up...

Have you got 5v connected to the PI. cant tell from the pics.

I think you will find that the PI uses 5 volts.

Hi, thanks for the return, I am using normaly open micro switches, connected to the endstop connectors, it's no so much the connections I have problems with, but the actual settings needed to make them work.

Has anyone got these things working satisfactory, if so can you please let me know the settings, as I have had know luck what so ever, I just get alarms and lock ups.
