You may be right about grounding on one end only - I probably have a ground loop the way I have it. What I probably should have done was not ground them at the motor end, and add a single ground from the Arduino case to the MaxNC structure. This is working for now so I'm going to leave it be. Hi animal, In the event you haven't sorted out the current settings, jumper settings and resolution yet, here are the settings I am using on my MaxNC-10: Current setting: Keep in mind that my motors are different than yours, but I think these settings should work with the Powermax II motors as well....
