Re: Conversion to 3.3 volt logic for Arduino Zero compatible board?
So far, so good! :) I cut the 5V pin on the shield, and soldered a jumper from 3.3V -> 5V. Plugged it into the Sparkfun SAMD21 development board - Hooray - all the smoke stayed inside  Next step was to load a basic test sketch from http://forum.hobbycomponents.com/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=1747 ...

Re: Conversion to 3.3 volt logic for Arduino Zero compatible board?
Good news!
My thing is software, but I did enough googling to think it might be an option. I'll give it a try and update with results - hopefully soon!
Thanks,
David

Conversion to 3.3 volt logic for Arduino Zero compatible board?
I'm considering using my shield with a SAMD21 based board (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13672) which requires 3.3 volt logic.
Will the CNC Shield operate correctly if I just clip the 5V supply pin and jump it to a 3.3V source?
Thanks,
David
