Re: Auto Square

Hi,

Thank you for the reply. I know about the 2 end stop pins per axis. I guess this is more of a software issue? As in, how to setup the software to use the second end stop pin for the cloned motor.

Thank you.

Re: Shield not working

Bertus,

The fuse was bad. I used a piece of wire to jump it. It does work now.

Thank you for all of your help.

Take care,

Re: Shield not working

Bertus, I will check those pins this evening. I am using the DRV8825. When installed, the heat sink is on the side closest to the DC input. Picture is for reference only. This is how I have my drivers installed. https://www.dropbox.com/s/fih3z2mu450huyb/CNC%20Shield_sm.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.co...

Re: Shield not working

Update. I now have a steady 19.88 volts going to the CNC Shield. I am guessing that should be good since the shield can handle 12-36v. I am not getting any voltage the drivers. ( I was before.) I have tested 5 different DRV8825's. I verified that the fuse is good and checked the 5v and 3.3v pins. Co...

Shield not working

Hi All, I am building my first CNC and I am stuck. :( I am unable to get the motors to respond. No hum, cold, nothing. The heatsinks on the drivers are not warm either. I have setup the Arduino Uno and I am able to send GRBL commands. I am using NEMA17 motors, a 24v 15amp psu for the CNC Shield v3.0...
