Dual steppers on both X & Y?

Postby Henrik » Wed Feb 15, 2017 9:19 pm

I´ve searched but not found a solution. Lets see if someone here can help?

What would be the best way to drive dual steppers for both x- and y axis? I would like them to be on the same signal but each stepper connected to a separate A4988.

Is it possible to modify the CNC-shield (v.3) in order to clone X or Y not only to A, but also to Z (i.e. I will not drive a Z-axis)?

I´m planning on building an H-bot prototype with four stepper motors btw...

Many thanks!

ITs possible...

Just clone one to the A and the other via wires connect the step, dir, enable and gnd pins to two drivers.

Return to “Old CNC Shield V3.00 and Chines copies of it...”
